Why this is being built
Every term the same thing happens: someone posts in a course group at 11pm asking whether anyone understands the assignment. The answer usually exists somewhere on campus, just not where the question was asked.
What it will include
- Tutors listed by subject, university and rate
- Ratings from students who actually booked them
- Student-run study groups you can join by course
- Past-paper and resource sharing where permitted
How it will work
Tutors will be listed with their institution and subject, and reviews will only come from students who booked through the platform. Study groups are student-run and free. This is a directory, not a marketplace taking a cut of your tuition.
Where it actually stands
Being designed now. The hard part is not the software, it is verification: a tutor directory nobody has vetted is worse than no directory at all.
