The rules for using this site while it is being built. Plain English, and shorter than you expect.

DubaiStudentLife is not finished. Parts of it work, parts of it are being built, and the pages say which is which.
Event listings currently shown are sample content used to build and demonstrate the platform. They are marked as samples. Do not treat them as offers, and do not make travel or payment decisions based on them.
Nothing on this site is currently a bookable ticket or a binding offer.

Registering tells us you want to hear when the platform launches. It does not create an account, reserve a place at an event, or buy a ticket.
Give us details that are accurate and your own. If you register on behalf of somebody else, make sure they are happy for you to do it.

Use it normally and you will never run into this section. For completeness: do not try to break the site, scrape it wholesale, misrepresent who you are, or use it for anything unlawful.
We may withdraw access if somebody is doing one of those things.

Event details, once real listings are live, come from organisers and venues. We check what we can, but times, prices and availability change, and the organiser is the authority on their own event.
Always confirm with the organiser before travelling or paying.

Where the site links to organisers, ticketing platforms, universities or venues, those sites are not ours and we do not control them. Their terms apply once you arrive.

The DubaiStudentLife name, logo, written content, design and code belong to us. University names, organiser names and venue names belong to the organisations they identify and appear here descriptively.
You are welcome to link to any page on the site.

The site is provided as it is while in development. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free, and we are not liable for losses arising from relying on sample content or on an organiser's own listing.
Nothing here limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction over any dispute.
