(01)Why this exists
25 universities, more than 100 places worth the metro fare and something on every night of the week. DubaiStudentLife puts all of it in one feed, checked, priced and free.
(02)The platform
Events were first. Everything else a student in Dubai needs is being built around them, in four sections. The live ones work today; the rest each have a page saying exactly where they stand.

(04)Spots to go
From free beaches to the city's best rooftops, each one picked for a student's time and budget, with what it really costs written on it. 69 of them cost nothing to walk into.

DubaiStudentLife lists student events from every university in Dubai in a single feed, so you are not checking 16 separate society pages and a dozen Instagram accounts to find out what is on this weekend. Filter by date, price, category or university, and open any event for the full time, venue, price and booking details.
Yes, and plenty of them. 24 of the 39 events listed right now cost nothing to attend, including society nights, workshops, career fairs and campus socials. You can see only those at any time by filtering the feed to free events.
All of them. That includes the University of Wollongong in Dubai, Heriot-Watt Dubai, Middlesex Dubai, the American University in Dubai, BITS Pilani Dubai, Canadian University Dubai, Amity, Murdoch, Birmingham Dubai, Manipal, SP Jain, Zayed University, RIT Dubai, Curtin Dubai, De Montfort Dubai and the University of Dubai. Events open to students from any campus are listed alongside campus-only ones.
No. Browsing events is free and always will be, and registering is free too. Individual events may charge for a ticket, and where they do the price is shown on the card before you click anything.
More than most people assume. Campus society nights, free workshops, inter-university sport, gallery late nights, food markets and beach meetups all run at no cost or close to it, and student-rate desert trips, boat parties and karting come in well under the tourist price. Filter the feed to free events, or sort by price low to high, to see what fits.
Yes, and there is no charge for it. University societies, student networks and venues running genuinely student-focused events can submit a listing, and it appears in the feed and on its own page once it is checked.
It depends on the event, and each listing says so. Campus events usually need a valid student ID at the door, and student-rate tickets almost always do. Public events with student pricing will say what they accept.
