About this list
A two-hour workshop is the cheapest skill you will ever pick up, and Dubai runs a lot of them: AI and data sessions in tech hubs, design and photography evenings in the creative districts, Arabic classes, startup clinics and business basics run by accelerators.
Almost everything in this section is free or close to it, because the organisers are hiring, recruiting for a programme, or building a community. That is a fair trade for an evening. Places are usually limited, so the listings link straight to registration.
